Skaters

The skaters are people that are about between 13 and 25. This new group emerged in the mid-'90s, naming it as an urban sport. This urban sport has had a huge popularity and is linked to a stream of life, whose clothes, attitude and musical tasted are well defined. They do not consider themselves as graffiti, gangs or rebels without a cause. They defined themselves as skaters. The first reason to do with the fact that the skaters in the United States and specifically in California started playing and listening to skapunk.


We can say that this sport, although performed on the asphalt , was born in the sea. This new style of life, as many of its practitioners called, changed the wheeles for waves on the sea on the asphalt.


The sport began in the summer of 1962, in California a day without waves, when some young surfers started to do the activity for fun, that's when the idea came fantastic, putting the wheels on their surfboards.
The skaters usually wear long pants to prevent scratches to fall of the skate, but also wear shorts(below knee). Both trousers are wide for better mobility in the skate. Their shirts are similar to the B-boys, and they often carry the name of their favourite bands, they usually wear black clothes. Quicksilver brand and not fear are widely by skaters. The shoes are identical to the B-boys, flat- soled bambas undone.

The skate is synonymous with Punk and Ska. The punk music of rebellion chaos, social disorder and a similar to skate because both are not accepted as music or punk or skate as a sport(not a sport is a way of life). The overall objective of this music is to give a message and you put yourself your own rules, note anyone else you care. Also, skaters, listen to other music like hip hop and now the tribe is now a more adopting a new music style called Nu-Metal.

The hippies

The hippies were one of most important groups originated against cultural injustices. This group was born in the 60`s in the U.S.A.
They listen to psychodelic rock and folk, they ageed to the sexual revolution and they believe in free love.Some hippies participed in radical activism and they consumed drugs, for example, marijana, LSD, and others hallucinogenic with the intention of reaching upset conditions of the conscience. For their rejection to the consumerism they used to choose the voluntary simplicity for hedonistic, spiritual, religious, artistic, political, or environmental motivations.

The hippies are seeking place of autonomy with respect to the customs of hegemonic society. The movement itself has no ideological/political specifically defined or a homogeneous or stable organization, but generally tends to ideas and way of life with sloping trend to liberarian socialism and environmentalism. Many of the hipies were relatively apolitical or politically but syncretic, argued the importance to respect the free expression of subjectivity and creativity. There are several group within this large group who are the hippies: some of this hippies centralizing in their Bohemia lifestyle. Others had a strong tendency for spirituality. And finally, some centralized in radical environmentalism and activism. In general, they had a tendency to adopt a communal way of life based on love and peace. They want to live life intensely.

The hippies icon is usually a man with long hair and beard considerably longer than what in considered at the time. Women do not carry bras and do not shaves armpits or leg. In general, they wear showy clothes with intense colours. They would influence the feminism of later decades but there were still more transcendent values suck as free love, which argued for the right to pleasure, avoiding the restrictions of the nuclear family and the state. Also the hippies opened a pathway for tolerance and respect to homosexuality and race relations. For the two, they have long hair and show their actitude against the system. It is common of hippies getting to a place and surprise: those with more conventional style and forms either individually or in groups. This is sometimes planned and sometimes not. The hippies philosophy han an important impact on cultural influence in the music, film, literature and art. Also some hippies values such as tolerance and celebration of cultural and ethinic diveresity have been widely accepted even by mainstream socity.

In conclusion, the hippies are one of the most important groups of the world in the last century, they marked a trend in our society. This tribe pracrically extinguished but their ideas even remain in the world. Despite many comments on the hippies , it was a group that always looked for a good society, world, peace,and love.
